Why did the Tuders have to wait so long for a large cash reward to help find their missing daughter? Is the District Attorney involved in the Tuders case too stupid to convince the State that a large cash reward would be helpful?

This boondoggle has become the poster child for why it is a bad idea for government at any level to try to replace the private sector.
